The principles of Carnforth Windows and the impact our business has on the environment, whether it be windows, doors or conservatories always has sustainability in mind. Commercially our products as recognized as amongst the highest within the fenestration industry with superior specification as standard! But it’s our approach to sustainability that we pride ourselves on.
Some of our extrusion suppliers are the first systems company in the UK to introduce Recycled Composite Material (RCM) reinforcement for its UPVc window and door profiles.
Manufactured from waste UPVc, the new reinforcement provides a closed loop to the recycled process, it offers better thermal efficiency and has a 20% higher weld strength than traditional reinforcement materials.
The benefits of using RCM are overwhelming from every point of view; it is an environmentally friendly alternative to existing materials with many other advantages.
